APRIL 17 - 19 - TRAILBLAZER CAMPING TRIP POSTPONED - Weather (at the time the decision was made), low attendance and other factors have caused us to postpone the Trailblazer camping trip. Tentatively rescheduled to occur concurrently with the May 1 - 3 Rifle Shooting Camping Trip.
APRIL 18 - CHURCH MULCH SPREADING AND GARDENING - Come support our Chartering Organization and help spread the mulch they buy from our Troop. Service hours awarded to participating scouts. Mulch spreading/gardening, 9:00 am -12:00 noon, (rain date - Sunday 4/19, 1:00 to 4:00 pm). Please bring your own work gloves and garden tools, water bottle, sun screen, hat and wear clothes that can get dirty. Permission slip is attached. Questions? See Greg Thacker
APRIL 25 - VETERAN'S COMMONS CLEANUP Service Project - Troop 895 has adopted the Veteran's Commons on the WO&D Bike Trail near its intersection with North Maple Ave. Join in the effort to recognize and thank our Veterans for all that they have done for our Country. MAY 1 -3 RIFLE SHOOTING / SCOUT SKILLS CAMPOUT
SPL: Sam Naeher Trip Scoutmaster: Erik Zackrison See attached flyer and permission slip. Adult participation to aid in Trail to First Class activities is needed.
We will load the trailer at 6pm on Thursday, then meet at 6pm Friday and leave at 6:30pm. Bring your dinner for Friday night. This promises to be quite an interesting outing, because in addition to the normal rifle activity there will also be the normal tenderfoot training. Also, all Troop Guides should be attending, this is your event of the year.
